Mark Walker

Back by very popular demand, an uproarious 'have-a-go' drum and percussion show.
Lots of noise so don't forget your ear-plugs!!
Mark Walker is
one of the UK's premier drummers, whose CV includes the West
End Production of the Lion King, appearing in the box at the
side of the stage, and house band drummer for the Jack Dee
show.
As percussionist with Rolf Harris for over ten years, he has
accompanied him around the world and performed at venues
such as The Royal Albert Hall, the Festival Hall and Royal
Philharmonic Hall Liverpool, not to mention three times at
Glastonbury in front of crowds as large as 80,000. Mark is
also author of the 70th birthday tribute book ‘The Court of
King Rolf’ published by Transworld.
He has written two well respected drum tutorials and as a
journalist for Rhythm, the UK's leading drum magazine, has
contributed hundreds of articles and has interviewed many of
the world's most famous drummers, including Coldplay's Will
Champion and
the legendary Steve Gadd.
Over the last
ten years Mark has become established as one of the UK's
most prominent drum show artists, performing on GMTV, BBC1
and CBBC, and at multi-cultural festivals around the UK
including regularly at the Rhythmsticks Festival on the
Southbank, Europe's largest annual drum festival.
